Budget Android Dev Boards With Some Nice Specs


Hardkernel just announced their latest Android Dev Boards, theODROID-U and ODROID-U2. Both boards are small enough tofit in the palm of your hand and cost just $69 and $89, respectively. That might seem cheap but these boards are nicely spec’d.

The ODROID-U comes with a quad-coreSamsungExynos4412 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, quad-core Mali 400 graphics at 400MHz, a pair of USB ports, a micro HDMI port, 10/100 Ethernet, and a headphone jack.

For $20 more, the ODROID-U2 features a quad-core 1.7GHz Samsung Exynos 4412 Prime and 2GB of RAM.

Neither board has any storage included, so you have to shell out for a microSD card or an eMMC module (available for sale at Hardkernal).
